Recovery is more than overcoming addiction or mental illness—it is rebuilding a life of purpose, stability, connection, and hope.
At Bayit Miklot, recovery is not defined by a single program or timeline. Every resident arrives with a different story, different strengths, and different challenges. Our role is to meet each person where they are and provide the structure, support, and opportunities needed to move forward with confidence.
Our recovery program combines safe housing, individualized clinical care, meaningful daily routines, Jewish values, personal responsibility, and a strong sense of community. Together, these elements create an environment where lasting change can take root.
Recovery begins with safety. Residents live in a structured, supportive home where they can focus on healing without the instability or isolation that often accompanies crisis.
No two people recover in exactly the same way. Each resident receives a personalized plan that reflects their unique needs, goals, strengths, and stage of recovery.
Evidence-informed therapeutic care is integrated into each resident's journey, addressing mental health, addiction, trauma, emotional wellbeing, and long-term recovery.
Healing happens in relationships. Through shared meals, peer support, mentorship, the Clubhouse, and meaningful community engagement, residents rediscover connection and a sense of belonging.
Recovery is about building a future. Residents are supported in developing practical life skills, healthy routines, employment or educational goals, financial responsibility, and the confidence to live independently.
Participation is always approached with respect for each person's individual journey.
Through the Bayit Miklot Clubhouse, alumni programming, mentorship, community events, and ongoing support, we remain connected with residents long after they transition into independent living.
Because recovery is strongest when no one has to walk the journey alone.
Your generosity provides safe housing, compassionate care, and the opportunity to rebuild a life.
