Bayit Miklot Inc. (“Bayit Miklot,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through bayitmiklot.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Please do not send detailed medical or mental health information by email or through the Site. Email is not a secure channel. If you are seeking help, share only your contact information, and we will arrange a confidential conversation.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of bayitmiklot.com (the “Site”), operated by Bayit Miklot Inc. (“Bayit Miklot,” “we,” “us”), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.
The Site provides general information about our programs. It is not medical, psychological or clinical advice, and it does not create a provider–patient relationship. If you or someone you know is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
You agree not to misuse the Site. For example, you may not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorized access to it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
The text, photographs, logos and other content on the Site belong to Bayit Miklot or its licensors. The names “Bayit Miklot,” “Home of Refuge” and “Community for Life” are our marks. You may share links to the Site, but you may not copy or reuse its content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
The Site links to services we do not control, such as payment processors and donor-advised fund sponsors. We are not responsible for their content or practices.
The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bayit Miklot is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
We are grateful for every gift, and we want giving to be simple and trustworthy.
Donations are charitable gifts, and they are generally non-refundable once processed. Donations are put to work quickly to support our programs, and your receipt may be used for tax purposes.
We will refund a donation made in error. Examples include:
Email info@bayitmiklot.com within 30 days of the donation. Include your name, the date and amount of the donation, the last four digits of the card used, and the reason for the request.
We will reply within five (5) business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Your bank may take five to ten (5–10) business days to show the credit. When a donation is refunded, its tax receipt is no longer valid.
Requests made more than 30 days after a donation are reviewed case by case.
Grants from a donor-advised fund, including The Donors’ Fund, cannot be refunded to an individual donor. Please contact your fund sponsor about any error. We will work with the sponsor to correct it.
If you do not recognize a charge from Bayit Miklot, please contact us before disputing it with your bank. We can usually resolve the issue faster.
This policy explains how to cancel donations made to Bayit Miklot Inc. (“Bayit Miklot”) through this website.
A one-time donation is processed immediately, so it cannot be cancelled once it is complete. If you made a mistake, please see our Refund Policy.
If you set up a recurring (for example, monthly) donation, you may cancel it at any time. To cancel:
Please contact us at least three (3) business days before your next scheduled payment. We will confirm the cancellation by email. A cancellation stops future payments. It does not refund payments already made.
Grants and recurring grants made through The Donors’ Fund or another donor-advised fund are controlled by that sponsoring organization. Please contact your fund sponsor to cancel or change them.
We do not sell products, and we do not ship physical goods. No shipping charges apply to any transaction on this website.
When you donate by card, a receipt is sent to the email address you provide at checkout, usually within minutes. Receipts for gifts made through The Donors’ Fund or a donor-advised fund are issued by that sponsoring organization.
If you did not receive your receipt, please check your spam folder, then contact us and we will resend it.
