Clubhouse

Our Clubhouse is where residents and alumni come together for game nights, Shabbos meals, group therapy, social programs, and real achdus. This is where isolation ends and belonging begins.

Where healing meets community. Where no one has to land alone.

At Bayit Miklot, the Clubhouse isn’t just a building — it’s the beating heart of everyday connection and growth.

Right now, our interim Clubhouse runs 24/7 from the Bayit Miklot House in Dallas (5934 Harvest Hill Road). It’s a warm, open space for residents, alumni, and anyone in the Jewish community who needs a safe place to land.

Come for a hot kosher meal, group therapy, a vocational workshop, game night, music, or just to sit around the table with people who get it — the doors (and the fridge) are always open.

What happens inside the Clubhouse every day:
  • Evidence-based group therapy and trauma-informed care
  • Vocational workshops (resume building, trades intro, budgeting, job skills, and more)
  • Spiritual learning circles and chaburas
  • Lively kosher meals (Shabbos and weekday) with real conversation
  • Game nights, music (old Yiddish and new), and genuine chevra

It’s the place where “I have nowhere to go” becomes “I finally belong.”

We’ve already supported 200+ unique Jewish adults, provided 50+ overnight stays, helped 25+ people reach long-term stability, and seen 7+ graduates living independently — all thanks to this structured, accountable, Jewish-values-driven environment.

Connection with our Rabbi

While the Rabbi doesn’t hang out at the Clubhouse, he keeps an open door at his house. Anytime a resident wants to talk — whether it’s Torah, therapy, sports, life struggles, or anything in between — we sit down together for real round-table discussions. No topic is off-limits, and the wisdom flows naturally.

The Vision: Our Permanent Clubhouse

We are raising funds for a purpose-built Clubhouse on a larger Dallas property — a true home of refuge with

  • Main floor: Group therapy rooms, vocational workshop spaces, kosher café, large communal kitchen and dining area
  • Upper floors: Flexible program offices (after initial transition-housing phase) and quiet study nooks
  • Beis Medrash with dedicated women’s section
  • Outdoor space: BBQ station, fire pit, covered smoking areas, and room to breathe

Phase 1 includes additional transitional housing for men (later converting to offices), while the common areas remain fully open and welcoming. Women’s dedicated housing is developing alongside it.

This will be more than walls — it will be a warm bayit filled with meals, music, accountability, trauma-informed care, and the kind of community that makes real healing possible.

Why it Matters

Every week we get calls from people released from facilities with nowhere safe to turn. The Clubhouse is the answer we’re building — one connection, one conversation, one second chance at a time.

Your Support Builds More than a Space

It builds hope, stability, and belonging for young Jewish adults (20s–50s) facing addiction, mental health crises, trauma, or homelessness.
